Understanding Narrowboat Symbols
ALL OF OUR BOATS HAVE THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE
- Central heating with Radiators throughout the boat.
- Fully equipped galley with gas stove, grill and oven, refrigerator, sink and drainer, work surface
and storage space. - Bedding
- Bathroom with toilet, shower, hand basin
- All boats have a TV (reception variable at canal level) CD and DVD players
- Quiet water-cooled engine
- Fresh water tank with filter system for drinking water

ELECTRICITY
All our boats have 12 volt electricity. The batteries charge whilst the engine is running to power items such as the Fridge, TV, DVD, CD/Radio, Lights.
240 VOLT ELECTRICITY
This symbol indicates that the boat has an inverter that supplies 240v electricity to certain appliances on the boat. This is suitable for electrical items supplied, but may damage your own equipment.
TOILETS
All of our boats are equipped with fresh water toilets which will, in most cases last a full week without need of pumping out. (Readily available at most boat yards)
ALARMS
All our boats are fitted with carbon monoxide and smoke alarms

BUOYANCY AIDS
There are aids available free of charge for both children and adults at the Marina – compulsory for children and
non-swimmers. There are two buoyancy aids on board but any additional aids should be requested on booking.

Provided on all boats.
